Perfect Moment AW26: Wine Tones, Metallics and a Houndstooth Comeback

Third in Collection Watch: Perfect Moment's Autumn/Winter 2026 collection trades last season's brights for something richer — deep wine, shiny metallics and camel, built around the brand's signature flared silhouettes, plus a houndstooth print pulled straight from the archives and made new again.

Seasonal Tones for the Mountain

Wine, Reimagined

Where recent Perfect Moment seasons have leaned into high-shine brights, AW26 settles into something moodier: wine, shiny black, camel, oyster pink and a cloud-blue that reads almost silver in the right light. Wine is clearly the hero tone of the season, and it runs straight through the brand's "Polar Flare" family — the silhouette Perfect Moment has built much of its recent identity around.

The High-Waist Aurora Flare Ski Pant is the piece doing the most work here: a flared leg, a high waist and just enough stretch to move properly on the mountain, in a deep wine that photographs beautifully against snow. Paired with the Polar Flare Down Ski Suit, it's the clearest statement of the season's palette in one look.

"A good houndstooth doesn't date. Perfect Moment just proved it belongs on the mountain as much as it ever belonged on the street."

A Classic, Made New

Houndstooth Returns, in Navy and Red

The print story of the season is houndstooth, and Perfect Moment has gone all in on it with the Tignes Ski Suit: a navy, red and white houndstooth one-piece, belted at the waist, that reads more "ski racing archive" than anything trend-driven. It's the kind of print that works precisely because it isn't new — it's a pattern with real pedigree in winter sportswear, simply cut for a 2026 silhouette.

It's also, to me, the piece in this whole collection most likely to be remembered in five years rather than five months — a genuinely timeless print done properly, not just referenced.

Graphic Energy

Bold Colourblocking, Built for Speed

Alongside the quieter wine tones, AW26 keeps a few loud moments. The Astralis Down Ski Jacket wraps a cropped puffer in a diagonal wine, cream and camel colourblock that reads almost like a flag caught mid-motion, while the JG Down Ski Jacket takes the opposite approach: a sharp chevron stripe across the chest in rust, black and camel, finished with a cinched waist belt and a small embroidered star — a nod to the brand's long-running collaboration with the BWT Alpine Formula One team, where that same graphic, performance-first language comes from.

Both jackets are proof that a ski collection can be genuinely loud without losing the technical credibility underneath — these are shapes built for racing lines, not just lift queues.

Off the Slopes

The Star Dust Merino Sweater

Not every piece in this collection is built for the chairlift. The Star Dust Merino Wool Sweater — an oyster pink turtleneck scattered with an ivory star jacquard — is pure après-ski, soft enough for a chalet evening and dressed-up enough to wear well past the trip home. It's the kind of piece that quietly does more for a ski wardrobe's cost-per-wear than any single jacket.

Why It Matters For Your Snow Wardrobe

Mood Over Trend

What stands out across Goldbergh, Dior and now Perfect Moment this season is how different "luxury ski fashion" can look from one house to the next, while still sharing the same underlying idea: a wardrobe built around a mood, not just a logo. Perfect Moment's mood this season is quieter and richer than its own recent past — wine instead of neon, a classic print instead of a new one, one standout graphic jacket rather than ten.

It's also, again, exactly why renting makes sense for pieces this specific. A houndstooth suit or a metallic puffer this considered deserves to be worn for the trip it was chosen for, not stored for the other fifty weeks of the year.
