Luxury Ski Wear Rental for Europe, Japan, USA & Canada

Explore By Resort
Flagship USA resort, dressed in detail.
Beyond this general Northern Hemisphere guide, Aspen gets its own dedicated wardrobe guide — start here if you're headed to Colorado, or keep reading below for Europe, Japan, the USA and Canada as a whole.
The Other Side Of The Season
One wardrobe. Every mountain, every hemisphere.
While the Australian and New Zealand snow season runs through the middle of the year, the Northern Hemisphere's winter unfolds from December through April — across the Alps, Japan, and the resort towns of North America. 2nd LANE is now taking bookings for that season, so an Australian or New Zealand wardrobe never has to sit idle between trips.
Bookings are open now for travel to Europe, Japan, the USA and Canada — the same considered, designer-led approach to renting we've built our name on at home, extended to wherever your next winter takes you.
Northern Hemisphere Destinations
Dressed for wherever winter takes you.
What to Wear in Europe for the Snow
Courchevel · Val d'Isère · St. Moritz · Zermatt · Verbier · Chamonix · Dolomites
An Alpine season calls for pieces that move between the piste, lunch on the terrace and dinner in the village. Whether you're chasing fresh tracks in Courchevel and Val d'Isère, or a slower, scenic week around Zermatt, Verbier, St. Moritz, Chamonix or the Dolomites, a designer ski suit and elevated knitwear will carry the whole trip. Book your dates before you fly out from Australia or New Zealand and travel with your wardrobe already packed.
What to Wear in Japan for the Snow
Niseko · Hakuba · Furano
Japan's Niseko, Hakuba and Furano are known for some of the lightest, deepest powder in the world — and for the kind of daily snowfall that makes a technical, warm outer layer essential. Renting luxury ski wear for Japan means arriving with genuinely warm, waterproof pieces built for powder days, without buying an entire wardrobe for a trip you might only take once.
What to Wear in the USA for the Snow
Aspen · Vail · Park City · Jackson Hole
Aspen, Vail, Park City and Jackson Hole are as much about the après-ski scene as the skiing itself — lodge lunches, gallery walks and evenings by the fire all call for a wardrobe that looks as considered off the mountain as on it. Rent a designer ski suit for the slopes and statement knitwear for the rest of the day, and travel light without compromising on style.
What to Wear in Canada for the Snow
Whistler · Banff · Lake Louise
Whistler, Banff and Lake Louise pair big mountain terrain with genuinely cold, long winters — ideal conditions for a proper designer ski suit and layered knitwear. Cordova, one of the labels in our collection, was founded in Whistler, which makes it a fitting choice for a Canadian season on the mountain that shaped it.
Luxury Ski Brands
Rent the wardrobe, not the wardrobe malfunction of buying it.
A full designer ski wardrobe — suit, jacket, knitwear, boots and accessories — can easily run into the tens of thousands of dollars to own outright, for pieces that see the snow once or twice a year. Renting through 2nd LANE gives you access to the same luxury labels for a fraction of the retail cost, a fresh look for every trip, and one less oversized suitcase to check in.

Why Rent Ski Wear
Built for people who travel to more than one mountain.
Luxury, Without Owning It
Wear Moncler Grenoble, Fusalp, Goldbergh and more without the retail price tag of buying each piece outright.
A New Look, Every Trip
Choose a different wardrobe for Europe this year and Japan the next, instead of repeating the same suit on every trip.
Lower Cost Than Buying
Renting the pieces you'll wear once or twice a year costs a fraction of purchasing an entire ski wardrobe outright.
One Flat Rate, Any Trip Length
Rent for five days, wear it for the whole trip. Any rental longer than five days is charged at the five-day rate, so a longer Northern Hemisphere trip never costs more.
Frequently Asked Questions
Before you book your Northern Hemisphere trip.
Can I rent ski wear in Australia for a European ski trip?
Yes. Browse and book online from anywhere in Australia or New Zealand, and we'll deliver your wardrobe to you before you fly out to Europe.
Can I rent ski clothing for Niseko?
Yes. Niseko's deep powder calls for warm, technical outerwear — browse our ski jackets, ski suits and snow boots and book your dates around your Japan trip.
When should I book ski wear for the Northern Hemisphere season?
As early as you can once your travel dates are confirmed, particularly for peak December to February travel, so your preferred pieces and sizes are available.
Do you offer designer ski wear rental?
Yes. Our collection includes Goldbergh, Moncler Grenoble, Fusalp, Cordova, Perfect Moment, Bogner, Moon Boot and P.E Nation, among other luxury labels.
Can I book ski wear for Aspen or Whistler?
Yes. Both destinations suit a designer ski suit paired with statement knitwear for après-ski — see our dedicated USA and Canada sections above for suggestions.

Rental periods run from 4 to 30 days. For international trips, your booking should cover your full time away, through to the day you can post your rental back to us from Australia.

No. Any rental longer than five days is charged at the flat five-day rate — a 10 or 20-day trip to Europe, Japan, the USA or Canada costs the same as renting for five days.
Do you offer luxury ski clothing rental for Japan?
Yes. We recommend our warmest ski jackets, snow boots and Moon Boot pieces for the cold, snowy conditions across Niseko, Hakuba and Furano.
What should I wear for snow in the USA?
Aspen, Vail, Park City and Jackson Hole call for a designer ski suit or jacket-and-pant combination on the mountain, plus elevated knitwear and boots for après-ski — see our USA section above for label suggestions.
What should I wear for snow in Canada?
Whistler, Banff and Lake Louise pair big terrain with genuinely cold winters, so a proper ski suit and warm layering pieces are essential — Cordova, founded in Whistler, is a fitting choice for a Canadian trip.
