Created by Mariane Franca of 2nd LANE AUS and Chanel Loxton of Loxton Travel, our ski retreats bring together women who share a love of travel, style and the mountains. At the heart of each journey is a simple idea: beautiful experiences mean more when they are shared with people you connect with.
We welcome a small circle of six to eight women into thoughtfully curated alpine experiences, with space to feel at ease, be yourself and enjoy a new setting together. Days on the slopes, long lunches and evenings around the table create the setting for conversations, new perspectives and friendships that carry on beyond the trip.

A Friendship That Became a Shared Vision
Mariane and Chanel first met when Chanel rented skiwear from 2nd LANE AUS for a ski trip to Japan. What began as a client relationship grew into a friendship, built on a shared love of the mountains, luxury travel and exceptional ski fashion.
In December 2025, that friendship became a partnership, bringing together Mariane’s eye for style and Chanel’s expertise in private travel. Their shared vision is to create the kind of experience they would want to join themselves: considered, welcoming and personal, where a love of the mountains becomes the starting point for a wider circle of friends.
Meet Mariane & Chanel
Mariane Franca
Mariane is the founder and creative director of 2nd LANE AUS, a luxury fashion stylist and a researcher with a PhD in Psychiatry. A skier since childhood, she brings a lifelong connection to the mountains and an eye for a beautifully considered wardrobe. Her work in mental health informs her interest in how people connect, while her approach to fashion centres on personal expression and enjoying exceptional pieces through rental. For these retreats, she brings those interests together, helping women feel comfortable in their own style and welcome within the group.
Chanel Loxton
Chanel is the founder of Loxton Travel, an Australian agency specialising in private luxury travel. She brings years of experience, an understanding of the details that make a journey feel personal, and a thoughtful approach to looking after her guests. From choosing the setting to shaping the itinerary, Chanel creates the conditions for everyone to relax into the experience, with time to explore, share and enjoy the destination together.
